Entry requirements:The Certificate in Personal Training is an advanced course for established training professionals – so students will need a
Certificate in Gym Instruction or similar Level 2 qualification in gym instructing.
Students must be at least 16 with a reasonable level of fitness as well as reading, writing and numeracy skills.
Note: you will be required to attain a CPR certificate within 6 months of completing your distance learning course.
Course duration:
As with any distance learning course, students work at their own pace - but the course typically lasts around 12 weeks, with weekend workshops starting after 8 weeks.
The Certificate in Personal Training is also available in a full-time and part-time format.

Once you have enrolled onto the course and have worked your way through all the necessary work, you may choose which workshops or assessments you would like to attend. These are subject to availability and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
