If you’re a Personal Trainer wishing to broaden your knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of sports conditioning, then this highly popular course is for you. Sports conditioning is a technical area requiring knowledge of the latest training philosophies and the ability to apply them.
You will be required to analyse the biomechanical demands and primary athletic requirements of various sports and to design periodised programmes of athletic training around this analysis. You will also be required to achieve competency in a number of demanding practical conditioning techniques from Olympic lifting to advanced plyometrics.
This qualification will enable you to work with individual sports people and teams whatever their level of competency and to enjoy the rewards of seeing them progress under your expert guidance.

- Premier Sports Conditioning Instructor
- 16 REPs CPD points
- Needs analysis including: athlete screening, movement analysis and bio-motor ability assessment
- Sports specific goal setting
- Programme design and periodisation including: sports specific and position specific programme design, periodisation for individual and team sports, speed and agility drills and Olympic lifting
You must hold a Level 3 Personal Training qualification or equivalent to enrol on this course.
Length and Format of Course
The course includes a 2 day workshop. Candidates will be expected to read through the course manual prior to attending their workshop days.
