Course Content
RMT
- Movement-based anatomy – stability and the inner and outer units
- Corrective exercise – identifying muscle imbalances, posture and balance
- Static and dynamic postural assessment
- Flexibility – principles and methods of stretching
- Movement pattern-based programme design – training principles and the ‘Web Training System
MBF
- Introduction to movement-based flexibility
- Advanced flexibility physiology
- MBF methods of application – including self myofascial release and 3-dimensional dynamic flexibility
- MBF programme design – including integrating improved muscle balance in dynamic movement and the Web MBF training system
Entry Requirements
To become a certified Premier Master Personal Trainer, candidates must have successfully completed a REPs accredited, Level 3 Advanced Instructor award.
Length and Format of Course
Both the RMT and MBF are CD/DVD-ROM home learning products and are supported by a 1 day workshop. The length of each course will vary according to levels of application and available time. 6-12 months is a realistic time frame for completion of the Masters programme. These products can also be purchased individually.
Assessment
Each course has a series of online quizzes, plus an online exam upon completion of the home learning.
