The Premier Certificate in Movement Based Flexibility (MBF) builds and expands on the principles taught in the Diploma in Personal Training and the Certificate in Resisted Movement Training, thereby enabling you to enhance your clients’ training experiences and maximise training outcomes.
MBF utilises the unique Premier Web Training System©, which provides a progressive approach to corrective mobilisation work and functional flexibility training. The Web provides the learner with 82 progressive flexibility and light resistance exercises already mapped in order across six human movement patterns. This system will allow trainers to identify movement dysfunction, correct muscular imbalance and provide a structured approach towards the performance of advanced flexibility based exercise.

Course Content
MBF
- Introduction to Movement Based Flexibility
- Advanced flexibility physiology
- MBF methods of application – including self myofascial release and 3-dimensional static and dynamic flexibility
- MBF programme design – including integrating flexibility work with dynamic exercise
Entry Requirements
You must hold a Premier Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction or equivalent to attend this course. It is recommended that you have completed the Certificate in Resisted Movement Training before MBF.
Length and Format of Course
The MBF is a DVD-ROM home learning product and is supported by a 1 day workshop. The length of the course will vary according to levels of application and available time. 2 - 4 months is a realistic time frame for completion of the course.
Assessment
The course has a series of online quizzes, plus an online exam upon completion of the home learning. Learners will also be required to attend and pass a live practical assessment to complete their study.
