Online Format
Students learn to plan safe and effective exercise programmes in a gym or health club environment. Through online tutorials and weekend workshops, the certificate will cover:

- Entry Requirements
- The Certificate in Gym Instruction can be taken without prior qualifications - but students must be at least 16 with a reasonable level of fitness as well as reading, writing and numeracy skills. Experience of free weights and resistance machines is recommended, but not essential.
Length and Format of Course
Online: as with any distance learning course, students work at their own pace - but the course typically lasts around 6-8 weeks, including 2 weekend workshops.
