Course content
The course explains the importance of motivation and the view that motivation is a difficult concept as it always changing. A variety of definitions of motivation are offered and then dissected. The two dominant theories of motivation are explained to reach a deeper understanding of motivation. They are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and Maslow's hierarchy of needs.Then two major techniques of influencing motivation are examined: Goal Setting and Performance Profiling. The issues concerning goal setting are examined and then the process of goal setting is detailed. Additional information to make goal setting more effective is also detailed.The process of Performance Profiling is detailed and its uses are examined.

- The ability to come back and view these AV presentations as many times as you want.
- A 30 minute, 25 question, multiple choice and true/false CPD test, which you can retake 4 times, to earn valuable CPD's and print your Certificate of Completion.
