From the RAF to the BBC - Stuart Amory

Since qualifying as a personal trainer Stuart Amory's career has taken a very different direction and has even earned himself a Blue Peter badge.

Stuart's reputation and personal training business has grown rapidly since he completed the Premier Training International Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy in September 2005. He immediately began to build a strong client base and was then approached by Blue Peter to train presenter Zoe Salmon for the London Marathon 2006.

Making regular appearances on the show, Stuart put Zoe through her paces, including making her do a bleep test live in the studio. Stuart's relationship with the BBC grew from this and he is now working for CBBC in preparation for the Junior Great North Run in October.

Stuart said: "Being asked to work with Blue Peter was a fantastic opportunity and I enjoyed every minute of it. Educating children on the benefits of exercise is important and it's great to be working towards the Junior Great North Run."

With an ever growing client base, Stuart now includes Beth Cordingly (Actress) and Angelica Bell (CBBC TV Presenter) as regular clients. He has also been asked to be an online fitness expert for the sportswear brand Ronhill.

Before becoming a personal trainer, Stuart Amory could be seen regularly falling from the sky as part of the RAF Falcons parachute display team. Upon deciding to leave the services in 2005, Stuart came across the Premier Training International Diploma through their resettlement programme

Stuart heard all about the Premier Training International Diploma through colleagues and found it to be by far the most reputable course:

"The three-month course covered all the practical skills and theory I needed to become a qualified personal trainer. It was split into three modules that covered the basics of fitness training techniques needed to be a personal trainer and a comprehensive module on sports massage therapy."

As well as training celebrities, Stuart has a growing client list and is an instructor with the British Military Fitness Ltd organisation:

"Health and fitness has always been important to me and the knowledge and experience I have gained by completing the Premier Diploma means that I can offer personal training to a wide variety of people and offer bespoke training programmes tailored to suit individual needs."
