Premier Training Expands into the Oman
Premier Training International, the UK’s leading provider of face-to-face training for fitness professionals, has secured a landmark international contract to provide Health and Fitness instructors to the Oman.
The contract has been agreed with Khimji Ramdas - a diverse organisation based in the Oman, trading in a range of markets spanning distribution, retailing, services and manufacturing.
Khimji Ramdas also partners fitness equipment specialist Cybex to provide Personal Trainers to the health and fitness industry in the Oman. The aim of this co-venture is to target affluent Omanis who are more likely to install private gym facilities at home, than to acquire membership at a public health club operator. Khimji Ramjas will be providing trainers to complement equipment installations by Cybex.
Premier Training International will train up experienced Khimji employees to deliver the Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction and the Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer.
Premier Training is well established in the corporate market, focusing on health clubs and other vertical markets, such as the emergency services, armed forces and Higher Education. Large corporate brands, such as Fitness First, smaller health club operators, individuals and government funded schemes are all now catered for by the firm with training schemes to suit each and every need.
Debra Stuart, Chief Executive Officer at Premier Training International said, "We have combined a globally recognised fitness training product from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) with the Premier skill set and expertise in health and fitness training to develop cutting-edge courses and qualifications which are quality assured by Active IQ, an OfQual recognised awarding body.
Karem Shaik of Khimji Ramjas, said, "The market in Oman is exclusive and high end, and this means that only the best products and services will cut the mustard. That is why we turned to Premier Global. Their reputation is internationally renowned."
