Premier Training International launches new official training venue in Bath

Bath venueTo reflect the growing number of people turning to a career in the health and fitness sector, Premier Training International has continued to expand by announcing plans to open a new training venue in Bath in March. The International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training will be the first qualification available at the venue, scheduled to begin on the 5th March, as Premier works to increase its outreach and support aspiring fitness professionals in and around the South West.

The Bath opening is the latest in a series of planned new venues launched by the training provider in towns and cities across the country, continuing an expansion that began in the latter half of 2011. Since 2011, Premier Training International has opened venues in Raynes Park and Southampton, with Sheffield and Exeter due to open this March, and Teddington and Chigwell venues opening in April.

The International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training offered at Bath is widely considered to be the UK’s gold standard training qualification. Incorporating the Certificate in Gym Instruction and the Certificate in Advanced Personal Training, the diploma provides graduates with the knowledge and ability to instruct and supervise safe exercise with both groups and mixed ability one-on-one clients.

Debra Stuart, Chief Executive Officer at Premier Global, commented: "Bath promises to be a fantastic new venue for us, particularly as we continue to progress our expansion plans. Demand for high quality fitness training programmes is increasing month on month, and the Bath venue will help meet the needs of fitness and training professionals across the South West regions."

She continued: "We offer the most esteemed courses in the industry and aim to provide health and fitness professionals with the means to develop their professional careers. We hope that the International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training at Bath will continue this trend, and we look forward to the prospect of many more Premier courses running at the venue in the future."

All of Premier’s courses provide nationally accredited qualifications through Active IQ, one of the UK’s leading ofqual approved awarding organisations in the active leisure sector, and are fully recognised by both employers and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). Courses are delivered through face-to-face and distance learning as well as e-learning platforms, allowing students to access the podcasts, webinars and video lectures remotely.
