Premier Training International launches new venue in Sheffield
Closely following the announcement of a new venue in Exeter, Premier Training International has continued to expand by revealing plans to open a further new training venue in Sheffield. The International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training will be the first qualification available at the venue as Premier works to increase its outreach and support aspiring fitness professionals in and around Yorkshire.
The venue, at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, will launch its first course on the 26th of March. With the Exeter venue scheduled to open just a few weeks beforehand, the month promises to be an exciting time for the company.
The International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training is a full-time course that is widely considered to be the UK’s gold standard training qualification. Incorporating the Certificate in Gym Instruction and the Certificate in Advanced Personal Training, the diploma provides graduates with the knowledge and ability to instruct and supervise safe exercise with both groups and mixed ability one-on-one clients. The diploma is fully recognised by both employers and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
Debra Stuart, CEO at Premier Training International, comments: "Following in the footsteps of our many recent new venue openings, not least in Exeter, Sheffield promises to be another great venue for Premier. We are proud of the way the company has moved forward over the past 12 months, but we are always looking to the future and are very excited about what this year holds."
Premier Training International aims to provide ways for people to gain respected qualifications in the health and fitness industry, without taking the traditional route of going to university. All of Premier’s courses provide nationally accredited qualifications through Active IQ, one of the UK’s leading Ofqual approved awarding organisations in the active leisure sector, and are fully recognised by both employers and REPs. Courses are delivered through face-to-face and distance learning as well as e-learning platforms, allowing students to access highly interactive online learning and resources.
Over the next year Premier will look to further expand its UK operations. A number of training venues are scheduled to open across the country in 2012, alongside some new courses offering the very latest in health and fitness knowledge, technology and expertise.
