Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions laid out below and elsewhere in the Enrolment Form or online are the basis of the contract between Premier Training International ("Premier") and yourself. Please read them carefully as a contract is a legally binding agreement.
1) Applications must be made on the official Enrolment Form or via our official website.
2) The completed Enrolment Form contracts you to attend and pay for the course(s) as detailed in the application.
3) This application will only be accepted with the deposit (see price list) or full fee. The deposit, or 10% of the full course fee is non-refundable plus any special course materials/tutor time. For Distance Learning courses, in addition to the deposit there may also be a charge for course materials and tutor time as appropriate.
4) Distance Learning only - Students who have made an agreement to pay in instalments and who are not up to date with those instalments, will not have their course work marked until payments recommence.
5) If you are unavailable when course materials are delivered to the address provided and they are not collected from the local depot an additional distribution fee may be charged.
6) Distance Learning only If you cancel within 28 days, a 10% administration fee will be incurred and a refund given provided the course materials are returned in a saleable condition.
7) Distance Learning only Any course transfers must take place within 28 days and will incur a 10% administration fee. Beyond this period, no transfers will be permitted.
8) The balance of course fees, i.e. the total fee(s) less the Deposit previously paid, is due no later than 30 days before the course starts. The only exception to this is where payment will be from an approved Career Development Loan (CDL) supported by the Training Provider Declaration Form.
9) We understand that occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, applicants may have to alter their arrangements. In these cases every effort will be made to accommodate the change although there may be delays in enrolling students onto alternative courses. A letter of cancellation, together with an alternative booking (on our Student Enrolment Form), must be received at our Head Office no later than 14 days before the start of the original course. In such circumstances any fees paid, including the Deposit, will be transferred to the alternative course. In the case of cancellations not accompanied by an alternative booking, a refund of fees paid, less the 10% Deposit, will only be made if the cancellation is received at our Head Office no later than 14 days before the start of the course. N.B. No refund will be given for changes or cancellations made with less than 14 days notice. Under no circumstances can the deposit be refunded. An administration fee will be levied for any chan ges...see point 13 below.
10) Bookings for the Diploma in Personal Training & Sports Massage Therapy (Dip.PT/SMT) are for the Diploma course as a whole and not for the individual modules and as such, will be treated as a single course. Refunds will therefore not be given for course downgrades. For example, a Dip.PT/SMT course downgraded to Certificate in Gym Instruction (Cert.GI) and/or Certificate In Personal Training (Cert.PT) booking will still be liable for the full Dip.PT/SMT fee.
11) It may be necessary from time to time to change/cancel course dates, content, venues and prices from those published. Whilst we will make every effort to transfer your booking, together with any payment made, to the next available course at your preferred venue, it should be noted that we will not be held liable for any costs/losses incurred as a result of any such changes.
12) All Modular bookings within the Dip.PT/SMT are subject to availability. Premier reserves the right to keep a modular booking on hold (e.g. Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy) until the start date of the relevant Diploma. If you have a question regarding this issue please contact your local training centre.
13) Premier Training International reserves the right to remove from any course, students that fail to comply with its standard practices and procedures. Premier Training International also reserves the right to refuse enrolments, or suggest alternative arrangements, if it believes it will not be in the best interest of the company, other participants or the individual concerned to attend a Premier course.
14) Any changes to a confirmed face-to-face course booking (including change of dates, alterations and cancellations) will be liable to an administration fee of £150.00. Where a refund of fees is due, the administration fee will be deducted from the amount refunded.
15) The End User License Agreement (EULA) must be accepted on first use of the PC DVD-ROM Cert. GI or Cert. PT.
16) Applications for all courses which require a pre-requisite qualification must be accompanied by proof of the required qualification.
March 2008 full-time course offer Terms and Conditions:
This offer only applies to those who book on to the Diploma in PT & SMT or the combined Certificate in Gym Instruction and Certificate in Personal Training, full-time courses starting in March 2008. The offer is for those that pay in full before day one of the course (non negotiable) and are not using a CDL. Those utilizing a CDL or other third part payment method will get the free DVD's when all monies have been received. Those using the company finance scheme will not qualify for this offer. Those who qualify will receive free of charge the Cert GI DVD-ROMs, the Cert PT DVD-ROMs, Premier People membership plus PT on the Net membership for one year.
The Premier Sponsored Scholarship Terms and Conditions:
1) Open to all UK residents aged 16 or over except employees of the promoter or their families, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion.
2) Premier Training International assumes that if you are under 18 your parent(s)/guardian(s) have consented to your entry into this scholarship scheme and these terms and conditions.
3) Only one entry per person. Spammers will be disqualified.
4) No purchase necessary.
5) Awards are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
6) This scholarship is limited to Premier Training International's full time face to face courses with a start date between 31st March 2008 and 31st July 2008. It is not applicable to part-time courses or any distance learning, including DVD-ROM courses.
7) Scholarship places will be for the full time face to face Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy only, at selected venues only, subject to availability.
8) Eligible applicants will be subject to a Premier's selection process, including an interview with a Premier Careers Advisor. Successful applicants will be contacted at least 21 days prior to the course start date.
9) If you are not contacted within 21 days of the course start date, please assume your application for 'The Sponsored Scholarship' has not been successful.
10) Details of the successful applicants may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Premier Training International's marketing department two weeks after the course start date.
11) Applicant selection is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Your chance of being successful depends upon the number of eligible entries received.
12) If you are in full or part time employment, it is assumed that by applying for this scholarship, which if successful could result in time off work, your employer is in agreement to time off. Course start dates cannot be altered.
13) By applying for this scholarship, the successful applicants consent to any publicity generated as a result, including the use of promotional and marketing material, by Premier Training International.
14) Premier Training International will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through: technical fault, incompletion, illegibility or other damage. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
15) By applying for this scholarship I consent to allow my contact details to be used by Premier Training International Ltd for future communications. Premier Training International agrees that this data will not be sold on to any third party.
16) This scholarship scheme can not be used in conjunction with any other offers.
17) A fee of £360 per successful applicant will apply to cover administration and materials (manuals only) which must be paid in full before the course commences (non negotiable).
18) Revision discs are not included in the administration and materials fee as stated in point 17 of the terms and conditions, however purchase of revision discs is optional.
19) Any cancellation or amendment made (i.e. change to a different course within the scope of the scholarship scheme dates) will be subject to our standard administration fee - please see normal terms and conditions for further details.
20) Our normal terms and conditions apply.
21) We reserve the right to cancel the scholarship scheme at any time and/or amend the terms and conditions.
