Doug Owen - Centre Manager
After completing a BA (Hons) in Sports Studies, Doug spent eight years working in and around Manchester as a fitness professional before joining Premier in 1997. He has worked in both public and private sectors of the fitness industry in numerous positions, ranging from Fitness Instructor to Club Manager. He now works at Premier's Manchester venue as the Centre Manager.
John Fairman - Careers Advisor
John's interest in fitness training led him to a career in the military and after 10 years he then switched to the pharmaceutical industry. He joined Premier in 2002 as a Careers Advisor and ensures that students are aware of the different career paths and opportunities available to them once they have graduated. Suzanne McGivern - Sports Therapy Trainer
Suzanne McGivern has an extensive background in sports massage therapy. She studied for a HNC in Sports Therapy at Tameside College and went on to work in and manage many large health clubs before switching to a career in teaching. She joined Premier in 2007 as a Sports Therapy trainer. She enjoys aerobic dance classes, holidays and running her own clinic.
