Total Group Instructor Training Course

This course offers an excellent introduction to teaching group exercise and class management and will broaden your skills as a Fitness Instructor by developing your ability to plan and deliver safe and effective non-music based or choreographed group training sessions.

Entry Requirements

You will require a Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction or Exercise to Music to attend this total group course. Ideally, you will already have some experience of participating in circuit or group fitness training although this is not essential.

N.B. For insurance to practice you will need a current First Aid certificate. This is a one day course offered at all Premier Training venues.

The Total Group Instructor course covers all kinds of group fitness from circuits to outdoor boot-camp training and specialist population group training clinics. It will also provide an additional source of income and increase your attractiveness to potential employers.

On completion of this total group course you will have the knowledge and skills to plan and teach group exercises classes including circuit training, boot camp training, team coaching and small group fitness specialisms.

In addition you will receive a Premier Certificate in Total Group Instructor Training as well as 16 REPs CPD points.

Following on from this course you may wish to attend the Exercise to Music qualification, Studio Cycle Instructor Training and Kettlebell Instructor Training workshops to help you with further ideas for group glasses.
