It is important the you choose to study a CIMSPA endorsed qualification. Through Premier Global's affiliation with UK leading PT course provider Study Active, not only will your PT qualification be CIMSPA endorsed but Study Active's provision has also been rated as "Enhancing" which is the gold standard.In addition to a PT qualification being endorsed by CIMSPA, it should also be awarded by a respected awarding body. In the UK, Active IQ is the leading awarding body and it is them who will award your Personal Trainer qualification. 

All Personal Trainer qualifications offered through Premier Global are awarded by Active IQ, regulated by Ofqual and endorsed by CIMSPA. Upon graduation you will be able to join CIMSPA as a Personal Trainer practitioner. If you wish to work abroad, your CIMSPA membership would in turn make you eligible to apply for membership via EREPS.

To start as a Personal Trainer the first step is to get properly qualified and accredited. Studying with Premier Global takes care of this as you will achieve a globally recognised qualification that would make you eligible to join the necessary exercise registers (e.g. CIMSPA, EREPS) needed to be fully recognised as a PT. Once qualified you will need to use your skills to attract clients and build up a following. Some PTs do this from the start whilst others seek employment in a gym or health club first, then slowly but surely build their business up on the side. Once you have clients you will need to keep your CPD up to date which is a good reason to visit Premier Global to take advantage of the CPD options we offer. 

Some learners may complete in a few weeks whilst others may take a few months or longer. You study at your own pace so the actual time taken is up to you. Due to the dedicated support and quality of materials, it is not unsual for someone to complete their Personal Trainer qualification in as little as 12 weeks. 

Once you have achieved your level 3 qualification in Personal Training you may train your clients in any suitable enviroinment such as a gym, a studio, outdoors or online. Many of our graduates go on to train clients online.It is always a good idea to ensure your insurance covers you for training in different environments.
